Hogget is mature lamb aged between 1-2 years of age. We like to send ours at 18+ months giving them a chance to mature. This is a fresh half hogget born & reared on our farm and professionally butchered to your specification. Usually larger than lamb, less fatty and with more flavour. Each half hogget will include one leg joint, one shoulder joint, one loin joint, some chops, breast and neck. Offal also included by request. Order now and we will be in touch to find out how you would like it butchered and to let you know when the next hogget will be available - usually in the autumn each year. Packed in insulated boxes with freezer packs and sent by overnight carrier.
